Francisco Trincao is reportedly a player that Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is looking to sign this summer as a replacement for Marcus Rashford, who joined Aston Villa on loan until the end of this season and has a high chance of making this deal permanent in 2025 summer.
Amorim worked with Trincao when he was managing Sporting (2020 to Late 2024).
He joined Sporting in 2023 permanently from Barcelona after spending a season on loan with them in the 2022-23 season.
In 2020, the 25-year-old right-winger made his debut for Portugal (senior side), having played for U17, 18, 19 and 20
He has a reported release clause of £50m. His current deal with Sporting will expire in the 2026 summer. In 2020, Trincao joined Barca from Braga but did score just three goals in 28 La Liga outings.
Man Utd are struggling massively in the Premier League this season. In 29 matches, they have collected just 37 points. Hence, it is expected that the Red Devils will make a lot of moves this summer.
