Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has taken a massive leadership step with his kind gesture for the Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur in Bilbao next week.
The 40-year-old manager is paying for the trip of MU’s staff and their loved ones (30 members and their families).
As per Fabrizio Romano, Man United refused to fund the staff’s expenses ahead of the mega final. Since the start of the 2023-24 season, United bosses have been finding ways to save money.
Hence, they are even cutting off small things. As the Red Devils are one of the richest clubs in sports, even their ex-players are not buying these claims.
Amorim, who arrived at the mega English side in the middle of this season, has not worked well for the club in the Premier League. However, winning the Europa Legaue would change the perspective because it opens the doors for next season’s Champions Legaue.
And for a team battling in the bottom half of the PL, reaching the UCL means a lot. Plus, they could go aggressively in the summer transfer market this summer.
