Erling Haaland feels that despite Manchester City having a chance to win the FA Cup, the 2024-25 season can’t be called as success.

Manchester City are fourth in the Premier League table and have high outlook for qualifying for the Champions Legaue next season.

The Sky Blues had a target of winning five consecutive Premier League titles; however, Pep Guardiola’s side lost the rice to Liverpool.

Even in the Champions League, Man City were knocked out by Real Madrid 6-3 on aggregate in the round of 16.

Concerning the EFL Cup, the final took place between Newcastle United (winners) and Liverpool.

The Sky Blues will face Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final on Saturday. Despite FA Cup being a prestigious cup competition, it does not mean much to the Citizens players.

Before this week’s crucial game, star player Haaland told BBC Sport: “It is a good habit to reach Wembley and always important to win trophies. We have the FA Cup final to play for and in a horrific season we still managed to do this, that says it all.”

For the Norwigian, 30 goals in 41 appearances in all competitions showing great touch of the striker despite Man City having a poor season.
