AS Roma have identified Brighton’s Matt O’Riley as a key summer target (Athletic).
The Danish international is 24 years old. He was signed by the Seagulls in 2024. He has played 21 games in the IPL for the English side, scoring twice.
O’Riley plays as a central midfielder and is capable of working well as a holding player too. AS Roma finished fifth in Serie A last season, so there is an option of doing well.
Hence, O’Riley might work for Roma to the next step and book the Champions League spot.
AS Roma played for Celtic from 2022 to 2024, adding 25 goals in 93 Scottish Premiership outings.
