Chelsea have boosted their chances of doing well next season by signing Joao Pedro from Brighton. The Blues paid a massive £60m for signing the forward.

He is expected to get a deal lasting seven years. The forward has the chance of playing for Chelsea at the Club World Cup.

The Brazilian scored 10 goals in the Premier League last season. It has possibly solved Chelsea’s nine problems with Liam Delap already being a part of the squad.

Delap finished the 2024-25 PL season for Ipswich Town by scoring 13 goals. Chelsea finished fourth in the PL last season, so they are a part of the Champions Legaue.

It could even work as a safety for the club as if one striker fails, other can make it work.
