Enzo Maresca of Chelsea feels that the prize money of the Club World Cup is not something that owners are paying much importance to than doing well in the competition.
Maresca led the Blues to finish fourth in the Premier Legaue and win the UEFA Conference League last season.
Chelsea are hours away from facing ES Tunis in the final Club World Cup game. Chelsea need a draw or a victory to reach the round of 16.
Clube de Regatas do Flamengo have won opening two games. It means they have high chances of finishing on the top spot.
Maresca said: “The owners just want the best for us and for the players game by game and they are not talking about the final prize or the final reward in terms of money.”
Chelsea are one of the leading teams to win the competition. However, there are greater competition ahead from the round of 16 race.
