Novak Djokovic has decided not to use the services of Andy Murray as his coach. Ex-tennis player Murray helped the Serb reach the semis of the 2025 Australian Open, where he got injured in the semis.

The 37-year-old tennis great has not started the 2025 season in an ideal fashion, losing early at major tennis events.

Djokovic teamed up with Murray as a coach in November 2024. As they shared a tennis court for years as players, it became a dream partnership for several tennis fans.

In the 2025 Miami Open final, young Jakub Mensik beat Djokovic recently.

Djokovic said: “Thank you, coach Andy, for all the hard work, fun and support over last six months on and off the court – really enjoyed deepening our friendship together.”

Murray added: “Thanks to Novak for the unbelievable opportunity to work together, and thanks to his team for all their hard work over the past six months.”

“I wish Novak all the best for the rest of the season.”

Djokovic is a 24-time Grand Slam winner. He won three majors in 2023 to none ever since.
