Manchester United bid £60 million to acquire Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford.
This is higher than their first bid of £45 million plus £10 million in add-ons, which was rejected earlier.
Early in the 2025 summer transfer market, Man United paid £62.5m to sign Matheus Cunha from Wolves.
Cunha finished the 2024-25 PL season with 15 goals, while Mbeumo blasted 20 goals.
Mbeumo plays from the right wing position, a spot where Man United have not seen many goals coming in the last four to five seasons.
The Cameroon international is just 25 years old, and is Premier Legaue approved.
Last season, the club faced massive challenges in scoring goals overall. Mbeumo’s arrival might solve the problem in the score as Man United are also in search of a striker. Cunha is also capable of scoring goals.
