Newcastle United are possibly making their first two moves of the 2025 summer transfer market. The 2025 EFL Cup winners are possibly aiming to get Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi and Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo.
Both of these players will get a chance to play in the Champions League next season by joining the Magpies.
Mbeumo’s stock has reached the next level after he scored 20 Premier Legaue goals in the 2024-25 season, while Guehi played a massive role in making Crystal Palace win the 2025 FA Cup.
Newcastle reminded luckey as it was the first season where even the fifth spot gave the UCL spot, unlike the traditional four.
Getting both of these players will help Eddie Howe take the next step and possibly look for the Premier Legaue challenge and fighting hard in the UCL.
Winning the Legaue Cup in March was a huge boost for Newcastle, possibly starting a new era for the Magpies.
