Manchester United manager Ruban Amorim has made a mega statement, following his side’s 2-0 defeat against West Ham United Old Trafford on Sunday.
Tomas Soucek’s first-half strike and Jarrod Bowen’s second-half goal became ample for the Red Devils to face their 17th loss of the Premier League season.
Despite reaching the Europa League final, the Red Devils fans are utterly shocked to see their club in the 16th spot after 36 games.
Amorim said: “We need to be really strong in the summer and to be brave because we will not have a next season like this.”
Amorim strongly sees that changing the club’s culture overall is a must. And if things go in a similar fashion next season too in the PL, then it will be good for letting others take over key management positions.
United will face Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final next week (May 21). Spurs have an even worse domestic league season, with 20 defeats in 36 matches.
It is so strange for the football fans to see two top teams not doing well in the PL, but have a chance to win the Europa League.
