Brazil legend Zico feels that Carlo Ancelotti is the right man to make the five-time World Champions shine again at the highest levels.

Ancelotti is the first non-Brazilian manager in the 21st century to get the job.

Ancelotti is approaching the Brazil job after making Real Madrid win two Champions League titles from 2021 to 2025.

Brazil’s last World Cup glory came in 2002. Since then, they have failed to make a sound impact and win the tournament.

This is Ancelotti’s first job as a manager, where he is leading a country.

The Italian manager is famous for making Vinicius Junior shine at Real Madrid.

He will be reuniting with the former Chelsea boss when serving for his national team.

“Ancelotti played with Brazilian players, he has been a champion coach with Brazilian players at several teams and he’s always praised Brazilian players and put them in a position to help him,” Zico told AFP.

At the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the 65-year-old manager will lead Brazil in North Amrica.
