Several British media sources report that Arsenal are set to conduct the medical for holding midfielder Martin Zubimendi, as most of the boxes are covered for the mega transfer with Real Sociedad of Spain.
Recently Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta praised their long-serving defensive midfielder Thomas Partey, making several fans feel that Zubimendi might not go ahead.
However, the Gunners might get the double boost with Zubimendi’s deal, worth £51m, which is getting done., Partey is also in contact with Arsenal over a new deal. Partey’s present deal will be over by the end of June.
