The Ultimate Fighting Championship has parted ways with Cody Stamann. It was 2017 when Stamann joined hands with the UFC. However, the 35-year-old fighter lost his last three fighters against Da’Mon Blackshear, Taylor Lapilus and Douglas Silva de Andrade.

The update came on 27 Feb 2025 that Stamann is no longer a part of the UFC roster. His professional record has 21 wins, 8 losses and a draw.

Stamann did fight at the UFC 15 times, winning seven, losing seven and a draw.

Stamann is not just the only fighter leaving the UFC, Joshua Culibao and Jonathan Pearce did also leave the company following their poor showdown.

It was June 18, 2002, when Eddie Wineland lost to Stamann, helping him win the ‘Performance of the Night’ award. However, losing a fight in 2023 and two in 2024 made his departure permanent from the UFC.

Even the past few years have been hard for Stamann. On May 27, 2020, he heard the news of his younger brother Jacob leaving this world at the tender age of 18.

However, there is no update on his next move yet.
