As per the world-famous football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool have approached the people close to striker Alexander Isak.
As per various reports, Isak is one of the leading signings that the Reds wish to make this summer. Arne Slot’s side have decided to sell Darwin Nunez as he is not working out as they wish. In Sunday’s EFL Cup final, Isak’s second-half goal helped Newcastle United beat Liverpool 2-1.
The Swedish striker is in the form of his life, adding 19 goals in 25 PL games this season. Even in the Magpies 2024-25 EFL Cup glory, he scored three goals in six games.
However, Liverpool have to beat other major European sides to sign the striker. Even in the last season in the English top-flight, the world of football saw Isak scoring 21 goals in 30 games.
