Newcastle United are looking to sign Karim Adeyemi of Borussia Dortmund this summer, per Teamtalk.
Adeyemi made a move to Dortmund in 2022 from Red Bull Salzburg and has scored 16 times in 69 Bundesliga appearances.
Adeyemi made his debut for Germany in 2021, but has scored just once in eight appearances. He had played for Germany U16, U17 and U21 sides.
However, the move would only get triggered if they fail to get the signatures of Nottingham Forest’s Anthony Elanga.
Elanga joined Forest from Manchester United in 2023, scoring 11 times in 74 Premier League outings. The 23-year-old wideman scored six goals in 38 PL apps last season.
It is far better than his time at Man United from 2021 to 2023, where he did score just three times in 39 matches.
