Atletico Madrid are looking serious to sign Cristian Romero for £61m from Tottenham. Romero, who looks amazing for Argentina, has not worked that well for Spurs.
Hence, even a section of Spurs fans are ready to let him go and that too for a decent price. This might enable Spurs to get their targets for this summer.
Romero had a loan spell in the 2021-22 season at Spurs before signing the deal in 2022.
He has been a consistent part of the Spurs’ starting XI in 2021. But the followers of the North London giants are not too impressed with him.
Romero’s move to Atletico Madrid could work for him as the Spanish league might favour the 27-year-old.
