Brazil played a 0-0 draw with Ecuador in head coach Carlo Ancelotti’s first match in charge.

Ancelotti took over the Brazil job after getting departure from Real Madrid last month.

This is Ancelotti’s first assignment as the head coach of a country. His first match was the South American World Cup qualifying encounter.

With the arrival of the Italians, there is a strong buzz in Brazil about winning the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Even Ancelotti feels confident of making the five-time world champions win another FIFA World Cup.

As a club manager in Europe, Ancelotti has won it all. Hence, winning the World Cup and the Copa America might be the cherry on the cake.

Ancelotti is the only one to have won five Champions Legaue titles as a manager.
