Joshua Kimmich, whose contract is set to expire in the 2025 summer, is someone Arsenal want to sign. The German star is capable of playing as a right-back and holding midfielder.

It is something that can benefit the second-placed Gunners, who are 13 points behind table-toppers Liverpool in the PL with 54 points in 24 games. However, they have played one less game than the Reds yet.

Kimmich joined Bayern Munich in 2015 from RB Leipzig. He has won eight Bundesliga titles with Bayern, displaying a crucial role every season.

In the 2019-20 season, Kimmich played a mega role in Bayern’s Champions League triumph. From the Club World Cup to German Cups, the 30-year-old German international has won everything at the club level.

Possibly, he is now looking to make the next move in his career. At Arsenal, there is a chance of playing in the Champions League most likely next season, and he would be in a side that can win the Premier League too.

In Sep 2024, Kimmich even became the captain of the German national team.
