Aston Villa might look to sign Ferran Torres from Barcelona this summer, as per Mundo Deportivo. Villa are offering a possible fee of 50m euros (£42m) for getting the Spanish forward.
Torres made a move to Barca from Manchester City in 2022. From 2020 to 22, he played 28 times in the Premier League and scored nine goals.
Even for Barca, 28 goals in 108 La Liga outings tell his overall worth.
Torres has been the backbone of Spain, too, with 21 goals in just 49 matches. In 2024, his contribution was immense in helping Spain win the Euro.
A move to Villa might favour manager Unai Emery to have better options in attack, as the former Valencia winger can create chances too other than scoring goals.
