Nico Williams’ signing a new deal at Athletic Bilbao has made them turn their attention towards Luis Diaz, who had a productive 2024-25 season overall at Liverpool.
As per Fabrizio Romano, the Colombian international has become the property of Baca (per Fabrizio Romano).
The Reds have shown no signs of selling him this summer, as the second half of last season was too productive from his side. Hence, he was able to score 13 goals in the PL season.
A fully fit season, along with consistency, might make Liverpool get 18 to 20 goals in the 2025-26 season from Diaz.
It ought to be the key reason behind keeping him as early this year, they had a plan to sell the forward and look for an alternative.
