Despite no official confirmation having come from Real Madrid yet, it is almost clear that Carlo Ancelotti will be the new head coach of Brazil.

The Italian football legend has failed to make Real shine this season, with Barcelona just one win away from winning the La Liga title. Barca have already won the Copa del Rey, beating Real in the final recently.

Real might wait until Thursday’s clash of Barca against hosts Espanyol to make this update public. FCB beating Espanyol will end the La Liga title race for Real.

This means a trophy-less season, becoming the core reason behind the potential sacking of the Italian. Xabi Alonso made it clear on Monday about leaving Bayer Leverkusen after the end of the Bundesliga season.

There are super high chances of Alonso becoming the new Real boss this summer.

The Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) has even stated on their social media about the arrival of the former Everton and Chelsea manager.

“The greatest national team in the history of football will now be led by the most successful coach in the world. Carlo Ancelotti, synonymous with historic achievements, was announced by the president of the CBF, Ednaldo Rodrigues, as the new coach of the Brazilian national team. He will lead Brazil until the 2026 World Cup,” CBF stated

He will replace Dorival Junior, who faced sacking in March. Even in 2024, the media reports suggested that Ancelotti was close to joining the five-time world champions.

Brazil last won the FIFA World Cup in 2004. And Ancelotti’s arrival might make them win the mega title next year.
