Liverpool legend Mohamed Salah strongly feels that he can play football at the highest level until the age of 40.
Salah has recently signed a new two-year deal at Liverpool, keeping him at Anfield until the 2027 summer.
In the 2024-25 season, he played the biggest role in making LFC win their second Premier League title. Salah, who is 32 years old, scored 29 goals in the PL last season.
186 goals and 87 assists in 301 Premier League appearances tell the worth of Salah. 184 of his 186 PL goals have come at Liverpool, and the other two for Chelsea.
Next season, Salah has the chance to score 200 PL goals and even break the record of Wayne Rooney with 208 goals.
He told ON Sports: “If you ask me for my opinion, I think I can play until the age of 39 or 40, but if I felt before that I wanted to stop, I would quit. I have achieved a lot of things.”
Playing two more seasons at Liverpool means Salah has the chance to break the record of Harry Kane by scoring 214 goals and be only behind Alan Shearer with 260 goals.
Salah has scored over 200 goals for Liverpool in all competitions since making a move in the summer of 2017.
