Strong media reports are suggesting that Manchester United and Wolves have agreed terms over the Matheus Cunha, with the Red Devils paying a £62.5m release clause sum in three instalments.
Earlier, Wolves did not face Man United, paying the money over the five instalments. The Brazil forward will now do his medical before making the deal permanent.
Cunha’s potential arrival has boosted the fanbase, who had their poorest ever season in the Premier Legaue.
Man United finished the last season in the 15th position, collecting 42 points in 38 games. The biggest problem of the Red Devils was scoring goals, as they scored just 44 goals in the 2024-25 PL season.
But Cunha’s arrival will give them a possible boost of 15 to 20 goals in the English top-flight.
Last season in the PL, the Brazilian international scored 15 times in 33 outings. It’s far better than most Man United forwards combined.
