Jonathan David is a target of Juventus. However, as per Sky Sports, Napoli are very close to signing him in the 2025 summer transfer market.
David plays for Lille as a forward, scoring 87 times in 178 Ligue 1 appearances.
In 2020, he joined Lille from Gent. The Canadian international holds the decent experience of playing for his national side, with 31 goals in 61 outings.
David can score goals, something Napoli would like to add to defend their title next season. This presence will help them in the Champions Legaue next season.
David made his professional debut for Gent in 2018. He scored 30 goals in 60 domestic league appearances for them.
So in both Gent and Lille, he has contributed with goals in a decent manner. Hence, joining Napoli will hurt Juve by losing a player to their direct rivals.
