Bryan Mbeumo has become a key name that Manchester United are chasing this summer. As per Talksport, Man United have started talks with Brentford for the in-form forward, being valued at £50m.

As striker Matheus Cunha is close to making a move to Old Trafford, Mbeumo’s arrival will make things better. Mbeumo plays a right winger. It is a position where United have been facing problems in adding a productive player in the last four to five seasons.

Scoring 20 goals and providing eight assists in the recently completed 2024-25 season tells the worth of Mbeumo, who played all 38 PL games.

There are not many wingers or forwards who can score 20 goals in a PL season. United scored just 44 goals in the 2024-25 PL season.

Now, Cunha and Mbeumo making a move at Old Trafford would be seen as a massive advantage for the 13-time PL winners ahead of the 2025-26 season.

Mbeumo can also play as a second striker too, which gives a team tactical edge.
