Cristian Romero, who is the 2022 FIFA World Cup winner, has become a top summer target for Atletico Madrid, as per Marca.
Firstly, Romero had a loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur in the 2021-22 season. Secondly, he made a permanent move to Spurs in 2022.
However, the Whites fans feel that Romero has not worked for them as good as he plays for his national team.
He has appeared 18 times in the Premier Legaue this season, which features one goal and one assist. As he has a deal until the 2027 summer with the North London giants, Atletico Madrid have to pay a good sum to get him.
