The Delhi Capitals, who are fighting for the playoff spot in the Indian Premier League, might see the high-profile bowler Mitchell Starc not returning to the action following the short postponement of the cash-rich event.

Last week, the tension between India and Pakistan went higher. There were several reports suggesting that several Australian players wanted to leave.

However, as both nations have agreed on a ceasefire, there are chances that the remaining IPL action will start soon. The BCCI announced a suspension of the event last week.

As there are not many games left in the 2025 season of the IPL, several reports are suggesting that the final can take place by the very end of the month.

However, some internal sources are saying that Starc does not want to come back and play IPL this season, despite things getting normal.

The Australian star leaving at the most crucial time for the Delhi Capitals might not work that well overall. 13 points in 11 IPL games have placed DC in fifth place.

Hence, they are active in the playoff race. It makes  Starc ever-so-crucial for Axar Patel’s side.
