Bournemouth have rejected a massive bid of £55m for Illia Zabarnyi. It means Paris Saint-Germain have to increase its budget to get the player.
Zabarnyi plays as a centre-back. In the 2024-25 season, he had a dream run at Bournemouth. The Ukrainian is just 22 years old, so there are years ahead of him.
He joined the Cherries in 2023 from Dynamo Kyiv. In 2020, he made his debut for Ukraine. In just five years, Zabarnyi has played 49 times for his national side.
He is a tall six feet and two inches centre-back. Zabarnyi holds the experience of playing 78 times in the Premier Legaue, keeping 16 clean sheets for a mid-table club.
PSG won the Champions Legaue for the first time in their history last season.
To take things further, the European champions might be looking to get new players to keep things better.
