Rajasthan Royals head coach Rahul Dravid shared words of wisdom with young Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who has made a massive impact in his debut Indian Premier League season.
Suryavanshi is just 14 years old, young enough to play in the IPL. In his first IPL season, Suryavanshi has scored 252 runs in seven games. It includes a smashing century of 122.
Being 14, there are years ahead for the young cricketer. On Tuesday, he scored a match-winning 57 runs in just 33 balls and helped RR beat Chennai Super Kings by six wickets. They chased the target of 188 runs in 17.1 overs away from home.
IPL’s official Instagram handle shared a video of a conversation between the young India sensation and a legend of the game.
Dravid said: “It was a really good season for you. Continue this way. Keep working hard and keep in mind, since you’ve done so well this season, all these opposition bowlers you see will get back.”
In the IPL history, RR have nurtured the most young Indian talents, and Suryavanshi is one of them.
