Justin Kluivert feels that too many loan moves might not help a footballer to get the best direction. From 2016 to 2018, Kluivert was seen as the next big thing.
In 2018, he made a move to AS Roma. Before leaving the Italian club in 2023, he made loan moves at RB Leipzig, Nice and Valencia.
In 2023, Kluivert was signed by Bournemouth for £9.6m. In his debut Premier Legaue season, the 25-year-old scored seven times.
This season, the Dutch international has added 12 goals in 30 outings. It has helped the Cherries to hold 10th place in the PL.
Kluivert told BBC Sport: “I have always been travelling and been on loan.”
“I wouldn’t recommend that to anyone, because you never know what is happening. It is beautiful being stable.”
In January 2025, he was named PL Player of the Month. A decent impact in the Premier League can tempt big clubs to sign the Dutch winger. And a 12-goal season in the IPL tells a lot about his overall quality.
