Abde Ezzalzouli and Antony scored one goal each and helped Real Betis beat Fiorentina 2-1 in the Europa Conference League semi-finals first leg.

From Fiorentina’s side, Luca Ranieri scored a second-half goal.

Since making a loan move to Betis in the 2025 winter transfer market, the Brazilian forward is looking out of this world.

In the 2022-23 season, David de Gea and Antony played together at Manchester United. It is not just about the former Ajax winger scoring goals, but the overall impact he has made.

De Gea said: “I trained with Antony 1,000 times and he never scored a goal with his right foot in any training session.”

“I’m happy for him because he was coming from a difficult moment at United and now he’s showing the best of himself.”

Antony’s loan move is expiring at the end of this season. And Betis want to make this deal permanent.

In 65 Premier League appearances made for the Red Devils, Antony had a contribution of five goals and three assists.

This was the reason behind sending home a loan in the middle of the 2024-25 season.
