Eric Dier has not accepted the new offer at Bayern Munich. As a result, the England defender will leave the club after the end of this season.

Dier made a massive move to Germany in the middle of the 2023-24 season, before signing a year-long deal with Vincent Kompany’s side in the 2024 summer.

In the Bundesliga this season, he has made 18 appearances for FCB, scoring once.

75 points in 31 games have placed Bayern at the top of the domestic league table. And there are high chances of Dier leaving the club with the Bundesliga title.

In Dier’s professional career, he has never won the domestic league title. It will be his first silverware.

Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund said: “We had discussions with Eric about a new contract.”

“He told us that he doesn’t want to extend and will leave us.

“He’s a great guy. We had a great time together. Hopefully he crowns his time with us with his first title.”

As per several media reports, his next move could be joining Monaco. The 31-year-old defender might sign a three-year deal with the French side.

In 2022, the former Spurs star retired from national duty (England). From 2015 to 2022, he represented 49 times as a Three Lions player.
