Newcastle United have made a massive £55m bid to sign Anthony Elanga from Nottingham Forest, per Mail.
Eddie Howe might be seeing something in Elanga that others are not. Last season, he scored six goals.
It is far better than what he was doing at Manchester United, while not getting ample chances.
Anthony Elanga has scored 11 times in 74 PL outings for Forest. For Sweden, his first team debut came for Sweden in 2022. He has scored four goals in 22 matches for his national team.
Elanga joined Forest from Man United in 2023 for just £15 million. Now selling him for £55m possibly gives Nuno’s side a 40-million-pound profit.
