Kim Min-jae has become a key target for Newcastle United in the 2025 summer transfer market, as per Football Insider. The 28-year-old defender has scored three times for Bayern Munich this season.
The South Korean international moved to the German side Bayern from Napoli in the summer of 2023. Having 69 caps for his national team, the 28-year-old defender has scored four times.
Until the 2028 summer, Kim Min-jae holds the contract with Bayern. He was a part of South Korea’s U20 and U23 teams.
Kim Min jae is just one win away from leading Bayern to the Bundesliga title, having collected 75 points in 31 games.
Last season, Min-jae was not able to win the German top-flight title as Bayer 04 Leverkusen did steal the show.
In the 2022-23 season, the former Gyeongju KHNP and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors defender played a mega role to make Napoli win their first Serie A title in the 21st century.
