The 2024-25 season has turned out poorly for Marcus Rashford. In the first half, the England forward was not able to do much for the Red Devils.

He then made a short loan move to Aston Villa, which has not worked well for (presently) injured Rashford. As per Mirror, the 27-year-old forward is willing to take a pay cut and make his dream move to Barcelona.

Two to three seasons back, several reports were suggesting that Barca wanted to sign Rashford. Looking at his current form, it might take serious support from head coach Hansi Flick to make the Man United academy player turn things around next season.

Rashford has a signed deal until the 2028 summer with Man United. It shows that Barca or any club have to pay quality sums to get him.

This season, combined for MU and Villa, Rashford has scored 11 times in 41 games in all competitions. The stats might not look too bad. But he has been long-standing, having such average seasons, at the same level for years.

Meanwhile, Barcelona have won the Copa del Rey last week, are leading the La Liga race and are hours away from facing visitors Inter Milan in the first leg of the Champions League last-4.

It shows that Rashford could get a better and optimistic squad in Barcelona overall.
