Cricket pundit Ravi Shastri feels MS Dhoni’s mindset is key behind his glorious success. Dhoni, who now plays only competitive cricket in the Indian Premier Legaue, has long taken retirement from international cricket.
Dhoni’s major career highlights were winning the 2007 T20 World Cup, the 2011 50-over World Cup and the 2013 Champions Trophy. In all three events, he led the team as a wicketkeeper batsman.
Shastri talked about the importance of MSD behind the wickets, helping a team a lot, alongside his calm nature overall.
“He has hands faster than that of a pickpocket. If you’re ever in India, going for a big game, especially in Ahmedabad, you don’t want MS behind you; watch that back. The wallet will disappear,” Ravi Shastri said at the ICC ceremony, where MSD was inducted in Hall of Fame.
MS Dhoni did not do well with the bat in the IPL 2025, but his wicketkeeping was loved by the fans and pundits of the game.
