Stephen Curry felt that the Golden State Warriors’ 103-89 victory over the Houston Rockets came with extreme hard work.
It was a very important Western Conference first-round play-off series clash.
NBA legend Curry had to make a massive impact in the fourth round, scoring 14 of his 22 points. The 37-year-old defender got amazing support from Buddy Hield, adding 33 points.
In the Western Conference semis, the Golden State Warriors will go head-to-head with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Curry said: “A lot of resilience and everybody stepping up.”
“Everybody’s been talking about our team the last two games in terms of our execution, our energy, all that.
“We blocked it all out and just understood we had 48 minutes to dig deep. Everybody contributed. Buddy Hield was unbelievable.”
In February 2025, Jimmy Butler joined the Warriors from the Miami Heat. He added 20 points that played a huge role in keeping their NBA season alive.
Curry is a four-time NBA champion, having won the titles in 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2022. He has a golden chance to win his fifth title with the Warriors.
Back in 2009, the Warriors picked Curry in the first round (7th pick overall). Since then, he has never moved to any other NBA side.
