On Sunday, the five-time IPL winners beat the Delhi Capitals by 12 runs. Four days later, on Thursday, Hardik Pandya’s side defeated the Sunrisers Hyderabad by four wickets at the Wankhede Stadium.

Abhishek Sharma took 28 balls to score 40 runs. But he failed to take things forward from the set position.

Heinrich Klaasen scored 37 runs in 28 balls. But others were not able to contribute a lot with the bat. Hence, the MI got a mild target of 163 to chase.

MI worked as a batting unit. Impact player Rohit Sharma (26 runs) to captain Hardik Pandya (21) contributed well and made sure that the total was chased in 18.1 overs.

MI have now won three games out of seven, while SRH have lost five of the seven matches.
