The Sunrisers Hyderabad have slipped yet again in the Indian Premier League 2025, losing to the Gujarat Titans by 38 runs on Friday at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
Gujarat had to bat first after losing the toss, putting 224 runs on the scoreboard. Yet again, GT captain Shubman Gill played a beautiful knock in the IPL 2025. The Indian international took 38 balls to score 76 runs.
Like Gill, Jos Buttler made things utterly special with his 64 runs. Not to forget the contribution of Gill’s opening partner, Sai Sudarshan, who once again set the stage on fire with his 48-run contribution.
For SRH, Jaydev Unadkat took three wickets for 35 runs in four overs. But Unadkat did not see his bowling partners make the blasting impact. This is why they were able to take just six wickets.
For the away side, Abhishek Sharma tried to make Hyderabad shine with a 74-run knock. But all his other teammates didn’t build the innings well. After Abhishek, it was Heinrich Klaasen’s 23 that added some productive outlook. However, others even fail to add 23 or more.
14 points after 10 matches have made GT hold the second spot. Meanwhile, SRH have now lost seven times in 10 IPL games. They are 9th in the IPL table.
